Hi, I’m Charlie, a technical founder and CTO who builds scalable, elegant software products that solve real-world problems.

I specialise in architecting full-stack platforms, marketplaces, and mobile apps using Laravel, React, Vue, and modern cloud infrastructure. From complex quoting systems to AI-powered property platforms, I turn messy requirements into intuitive, production-ready products that people genuinely enjoy using.

I care about clean architecture, thoughtful UX, and building systems that don’t just work, but scale.

Outside of tech, I produce music, collect Pokémon cards, and attempt to improve my golf game (with limited success).

Co-founded PropServ and architected the platform from scratch leveraging Laravel and Next.js. As CTO, I oversee all technical operations and daily development, driving the product's continuous improvement and scalability.

Lead Software Engineer - Howden Group

Spent five years developing internal enterprise applications using Laravel and modern JavaScript frameworks. Led the API microservices team and engineered a scalable authentication infrastructure using Azure B2C which remains a core system component.

Studied Computer Information Systems, achieving first class honours. Developed skills in Java, PHP, JavaScript, and Python.

Problem

There's no trusted way to buy mystery graded Pokémon cards online in the UK, buyers can't verify randomness, and there's no way to manage or sell back pulls.

Solution

A provably fair pack engine using SHA-256 cryptographic randomness, paired with a personal vault for collection management and instant buyback options.
